Overview

The Tamil Language Learning and Promotion Committee (TLLPC) introduced the Cultural Performance Exposure Fund (CPEF) in 2019 to support schools in providing students with opportunities to experience and enjoy cultural performances in Tamil.

Purpose

The fund aims to spark students’ interest in learning the Tamil Language through meaningful and immersive experiences, while fostering a deeper appreciation of Tamil language and culture.

Impact

CPEF seeks to:

• Bring Mother Tongue Language learning to life for students

• Create authentic and engaging cultural learning experiences

• Support the Tamil cultural performing arts scene in Singapore
